Correa pulchella 'Pink Flamingo' (Australian Fuchsia) - A compact evergreen shrub to 3 feet tall and as wide with smooth and shiny deep-green leaves densely cloaking the branches. Deep salmon-pink flowers are very striking during winter and spring with scattered flowering year-round. Plant in full sun to part shade, with average to good drainage, Grows well in dry shade under oaks. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant. An Australian Plant Introduction from U.C. Santa Cruz Arboretum and Koala Blooms. First introduced in 2001 through this program by San Marcos Growers, Rosendale Nursery and Suncrest Nursery.
