Agave multifilifera 'Cardos Compacta' (Dwarf Chahuiqui) This beautiful small plant has very compact rosettes of stiff dark green leaves that blush red and have white marginal fibers and wide prominent white markings. Plant in full sun to part shade with occasional to little irrigation. Hardy to 15F. This plant from seed purchased from Rare Palm Seeds who describe it as a "dream of a plant!" Presumably from near Cardos in Chihuahua in northwestern Mexico near where the states of Durango, Chihuahua and Sinaloa meet.
Agave multifilifera is easily recognizable by it's white threads pulling from the margins of the leaves. It grows to 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide as dense green rosettes. Full sun. Drought tolerant
