Nymphaea 'Mary' ('Mary Strawn') (Hardy Waterlily) - The bold red color with darker leaf color makes 'Mary' a nice stand-alone waterlily. Pads emerge dark green with plum towards the edges, newer leaves deep plum. Leaf is nearly round with the lobes overlapping at sinus. Each leaf reaches 4 to 5 inches across and the foliage spreads to 3 to 5 feet wide. This free flowering lily is well suited for medium ponds. Hybridized by Strawn in 1993. Marliac rhizome.
