Mandevilla Sun Parasol White ['Sunmandeho'] - (Sun Parasol White) - A vigorous vining mandevilla with luxurious dark green foliage that provides a nice foil to the 4 to 6 inch wide white flowers with deep yellow throats.

Full coastal sun to light shade (5,000-8,000 foot candles). Long bloom period from May to October. Water regularly. Plant in a well-drained soil, raised bed or keep in a container. Protect from frost or bring under cover when temperatures dip near freezing.

This attractive plant was created by crossing Mandevilla amabilis 'Rose Giant' with Mandevilla boliviensis. It was selected for its flower size, lianous growth habit and heat tolerance. This was introduced by Suntory Ltd of Japan and received US Plant Patent PP11,556, which has since expired.
