Bamboo Garden |
See the Bamboo planted in the nursery gardens and around Santa Barbara. Bamboo is planted in the nursery not only for demonstration purposes but also for propagation stock - just wait until the Dendrocalamus reaches full size! |
Flax Garden |
Visit our New Zealand flax test field and see these cultivars planted in our gardens. In the 1990's we grew propagation stock for the new hybrids of Phormium in a one acre field that allowed us to determine the ultimate height and cultural needs of these showy perennials. |
Grass Gardens |
Grasses bind the garden together and we use a lot of them in our gardens. Ranging in size and culture from the large tropical Tiger Grass to the small Veld Grass, this group of plants has been planted extensively throughout our gardens. |
Vine Gardens |
Vines are one of our specialties and we have planted them anywhere we can. All fences and many building walls are planted out with these useful and showy plants. |
Water Garden |
We love our aquatic plants and finally got the opportunity to show them off in this pond we built in 2005 next to our Sales office. |
Yarrow Lawn |
Here's a good solution for you if you want to replace a thirsty lawn grass and it's showy too! Planted in 1991 this planting of Achillea millefolium has proved itself. |
