Rosa Lemon Splash ['Meisentmil'] PPAF (Lemon Splash Rose) - A small groundcover rose that grows to 2 1/2 feet tall by 3 feet wide with glossy green foliage and a dense rounded creeping form. In spring through summer appear in abundance the 3/4 inch wide cuplike double flowers (averaging 15 petals) in stems of 5 to 10 flowers - flowers emerge from globular buds a bright yellow and age to cream yellow. Plant in full sun and irrigate regularly. It is winter hardy and heat tolerant. Rosa 'Meisentmil' was introduced by The Conrad Pyle Co. and was bred by Meilland International specifically for use in smaller garden spaces and containers. It is also good in hanging baskets and as an accent in a rock garden. It received US Plant Patent 20,635 in January 2010.
