Euphorbia 'Flamingo' - This succulent is similar to 'Apache Red' except for the following three differences. The bracts are pink, the leaves a little longer, and rather than growing to a rounded shrub it is more erect with less branching. There is not much written about this variety; we can only describe it from our experience. The largest planting seen was a 1 to 2 foot tall and wide rounded shrub. It has many one half inch long spines. In the warmer months, bright pink bracts appear on pink 2 inch long branching flowers talks. Best in sun, protected from frost, with little watering. Hardy to 25-30° F.
The information about Euphorbia 'Flamingo' displayed on this web page is based on our research conducted in the nursery's horticultural library and from reliable online resources. We also include observations made about it as it grows in our nursery gardens and other gardens we have visited, as well how the crops have performed in containers in our nursery field. We will also incorporate comments we receive from others and welcome hearing from anyone with additional information, particularly if they can share cultural information that would aid others in growing this plant. |
