Aloe x spinosissima 'Streaker' (Streaker Spider Aloe) - This aloe grows to about 3 ft. tall in flower and spreads into clumps of the same width. Plant in full sun. Hardy to 22-25 F. A sport of Aloe x spinosissima that happened during micropropagation. This plant has less prominent teeth along the leaf margins, is paler yellow-grey in color and has fine lines running longitudinally through the leaf. Aloe x spinosissima is considered to be a hybrid between A. humilis echinata and A. arborescens pachythyrsa and is sometimes sold as Aloe arborescens 'Dwarf'. We have not seen this sport bloom yet but presumably it will have the same orange-red flowers as typical Aloe x spinosissima.
