Cyperus textilis (Flatsedge) - A medium-sized Cyperus growing 4-5 feet tall with stout, flat, dark green bracts topping the rigid stems. This evergreen aquatic forms greenish flowers in the summer. Strong bold lines are attractive contrasted against lighter colors. Grow in water or in moist soil in sun or part shade. It is hardy to about 20-25 degrees F.
