Nymphaea 'Mayla' (Aquatic) (Hardy Waterlily) - The 5 to 6 inch wide vivid fuschia pink flowers always draw attention. The plants are fairly floriferous and are easy to grow. Foliage is deep green (some emerge plum colored) and reaches 8 to 10 inches across and the plant spreads out to 6 to 8 feet wide. Prefers full sun and is cold hardy to about 15 degrees F. Overall, 'Mayla' is known for its fascinating flower and leaf colors. It boasts a large bloom that opens wide and sits just on top of the surface. Hybridized by Kirk Strawn in 1993. Odorata rhizome.
