Rosa Ivory Drift® (Ivory Drift Rose) - A repeat blooming rounded small shrub to 2 feet tall with an equal width and 1 ½ inch wide 20 to 25 petaled yellow centered white colored flowers. This is the first to bloom of the new Drift® Series of roses from the French hybridizer Meilland. This series was created by crossing groundcover roses with miniature roses. The resulting plants have the durable characteristics of the ground cover roses such as toughness, vigor, disease resistance and hardiness coupled with the compactness and repeat blooming typical of miniature roses. The Drift® Series roses are noted for their dark glossy green foliage, continuous bloom from spring to frost and excellent disease resistance to rust, powdery mildew and black spot. Plant in full sun. Irrigate regularly. Hardy to Zones 5-10. (-10 to 20 F). We grew this plant in 2007 and early 2008 when it was destroyed at the request of the breeder after showing susceptibility to a infection by bacterial gall.

The information about Rosa Ivory Drift® displayed on this web page is based on our research conducted in the nursery's horticultural library and from reliable online resources. We also include observations made about it as it grows in our nursery gardens and other gardens we have visited, as well how the crops have performed in containers in our nursery field. We will also incorporate comments we receive from others and welcome hearing from anyone with additional information, particularly if they can share cultural information that would aid others in growing this plant.
