Protea laurifolia 'Rose Mink' - A new protea cultivar from Dennis Perry that grows to be an upright shrub to 10 feet talll with gray-green laurel-like leaves. Large flowers heads appearing in mid winter have silvery-pink bacts tipped with black and white hairs. Plant in full sun in most any soil including clay and alkaline soils. Once established this plant is drought tolerant, requiring little irrigation. Fairly frost hardy - a good Protea for southern California gardens.
