Chamelaucium uncinatum 'White' (White Geraldton Waxflower) - This is a sparse evergreen shrub with soft needle-like foliage that grows 4-6 feet tall with equal spread. The winter to early spring, five-petaled flowers are a pure white. Full sun. Drought tolerant. It is hardy to about 25 degrees F. This cultivar came to us mistakenly as 'Lady Stephanie' a pink variety. We were told that it is the white Lady Stephanie (which we never found to exist) and we grew it from 2004 but have since discontinued growing it.
The information about Chamelaucium uncinatum 'White' displayed on this web page is based on our research conducted in the nursery's horticultural library and from reliable online resources. We also include observations made about it as it grows in our nursery gardens and other gardens we have visited, as well how the crops have performed in containers in our nursery field. We will also incorporate comments we receive from others and welcome hearing from anyone with additional information, particularly if they can share cultural information that would aid others in growing this plant. |
