Plant in full sun (coastal) or light shade, keeping soil moist when plants are in active growth. If possible, keep dry from fall through winter while plants are dormant. Can be lifted and replanted in early spring. A nice potted plant and good bright-colored cut flower.

This plant was part of the Callafornia Calla® program and was considered the gold standard in the calla industry for its larger flowers and moderate disease resistance, surpassing the previous standard called 'California Gold'. This plant has also been listed as 'Yellow Mammoth'.

We grew Zantedeschia 'Millennium Gold' from 2001 until 2008. These winter dormant Calla lilies with Zantedeschia elliotiana, Zantedeschia rehmanni and Zantedeschia pentandii parentage all seemed to resent our wet winter soils. We initially grew these parent species in the 1990s but moved on to growing the hybrids by 1992. They were good looking plants in their first years when we sold them, but we stopped growing all of these hybrids by 2008 because, like the parent species, they were not sustainable in our gardens without the corms being lifted.
