Dyckia 'Red Devil' (Red-leafed Dyckia) - This succulent forms clumps of 12 inch tall by 15 inch wide rosettes of deep-green leaves overlayed with rich rusty-red whose color intensifies in full sun. In late spring appear the small orange flowers that rise on slender 2-3 foot tall slightly-branching inflorescences. Plant in bright light (full sun best along coast) to enhance the dark color. Give good drainage and occasional to very little irrigation. Attractive to hummingbirds. This plant was sent to us by Yucca Do Nursery.
