x Mangave 'Center of Attention' PP33,630 (Center of Attention Mangave) - An attractive plant with rosettes up to 18 inches tall and 29 inches wide with dark reddish purple recurving leaves that have a lighter rose colored midstripe and with leaf margins having small evenly spaced rubbery teeth.
Plant in full to half day sun in a well-drained soil and give occasional to regular irrigation. It has been noted as resistant to deer and rabbit predation.
This plant is a 2020 introduction in the Walters Gardens MAD ABOUT MANGAVEŽ Collection of plants bred by Hans Hansen. Mangave 'Center of Attention' is a complex hybrid involving Agave nizandensis as the seed parent crossed with pollen from the cross between Mangave 'Bloodspot' and Agave pablocarrilloi (AKA Agave gypsophila, Hort.).
