Hemerocallis 'Little Rich' (Little Rich Daylily) - This evergreen daylily hybrid has 2.75 inch coppery burnt-orange flowers with a reddish center, which stay open late into the evening. Blossoms appear in early spring and repeat throughout the summer. Moderate grower with foliage reaching up to 16 inches. Plant in full sun to partial shade and provide regular watering. For added vigor divide clumps every 3-5 years and fertilize in late spring. Hybridized by Corker in 1987. Hemerocallis comes from two Greek words meaning ''beauty'' and ''day,'' referring to the fact that each flower lasts only a day.
The information about Hemerocallis 'Little Rich' displayed on this web page is based on our research conducted in the nursery's horticultural library and from reliable online resources. We also include observations made about it as it grows in our nursery gardens and other gardens we have visited, as well how the crops have performed in containers in our nursery field.
