Euphorbia 'Flamingo' - This succulent is similar to 'Apache Red' except for the following three differences. The bracts are pink, the leaves a little longer, and rather than growing to a rounded shrub it is more erect with less branching. There is not much written about this variety; we can only describe it from our experience. The largest planting seen was a 1 to 2 foot tall and wide rounded shrub. It has many one half inch long spines. In the warmer months, bright pink bracts appear on pink 2 inch long branching flowers talks. Best in sun, protected from frost, with little watering. Hardy to 25-30° F.
The information about Euphorbia 'Flamingo' that is displayed on this web page is based on research conducted in our nursery's horticultural library and from reliable online resources. We will also include observations made about this plant as it grows in our nursery gardens and other gardens that we have visited, as well how the crops have performed in containers in our nursery field. We also incorporate comments that we receive from others and welcome hearing from anyone with additional information, particularly if they share cultural information that aids others growing this plant.
