Actinidia chinensis - Kiwi Vine - East Asia. Actinidiaceae. Deciduous. 16-25 feet tall. Cream flower in spring. Part sun. Hardy 30-32° F. Moderate water needs. The low chill female cultivar ‘Vincent’ produces delicious fruit, even in coastal areas. A male plant such as ‘Tomuri’ is a good pollination source. Plant several females for every male.

Akebia quinata - Chocolate Vine - Central Asia. Lardizabalaceae. Deciduous. Purple flowers in late winter. Sun/Part shade. Hardy <15° F. Moderate water needs. A fragrant and attractive vine with unusual flowers.

Allamanda cathartica - Yellow Allamanda - Evergreen. 10-25'. Yellow flowers bloom year-round. Hardy to 30° F. Full sun. Moderate water needs. A plant only for warm winter locations where it will clamber up a trellis or other support. This plant not currently in production.

Aloe ciliaris - Climbing Aloe - S. Africa. Liliaceae. Evergreen. 8-12 feet tall. Scarlet-red flower year-round. Full sun. Hardy to 30-32° F. Low water needs. Great vine for climbing up large palm trees. We also grow the smaller and more delicate Aloe ciliaris var. tidmarshii and also a curious robust but lower-growing plant Aloe ciliaris 'Firewall' as this plant has been observed to slow or perhaps even halt the advancement of fire.

Bomarea multiflora - Climbing Alstroemeria - Colombia. Lilaceae. Orange flower. Hardy 20-25F. A delicate and unusual vine that is related to Alstroemeria.This plant not currently in production.

Bougainvillea hybrids - Bougainvillea - South America - Nyctaginaceae. Evergreen. 4-60ft. Bracts surrounding flowers come in many colors. Hardy to 20-25° F. Campsis x tagliabuana 'Mme. Galen' - Trumpet Creeper - This vigorous and hardy deciduous orange flowering vine is a cross between the American Trumpet Creeper (Campsis radicans) and the Chinese Trumpet Creeper (Campsis grandiflora). Hardy to below 0° F.This plant not currently in production.
